The above dates apply to continuing nonresident UC Berkeley students seeking residency classification. Petitions are available via Bear Facts on the date that filing begins. Petitions received in our office after the filing ends date will be denied; no exceptions will be made.

*If you file your petition and turn in all the documentation on the checklist by the priority filing date, our office will review your petition before the fee payment deadline of that particular semester.

 *The documentation deadline applies to the submission of documents after initial review and request for documents. Please submit all documents requested.  Incomplete records results in a delay in residence determination.  If you do not submit all requested documents or do not respond to our requests, you may be held responsible for the assessed non-resident supplemental tuition.
