What is Bear Facts?
Bear Facts is a system that provides information regarding your registration, grades, financial aid,
billing, class schedule, and more. You also use Bear Facts to change your addresses and phone numbers, order transcripts, view your DARS
report, and complete/submit a Statement of Legal Residence.
Accessing Bear Facts
You log on to Bear Facts using your CalNet ID and passphrase. If you have not used Bear Facts before, you must first
establish a CalNet ID using your 4-digit PIN as
your current passphrase. You must
then choose a passphrase of at least 9 characters (maximum 255), which can also include blanks. Your
passphrase must contain at least three different character classes. (The defined character classes are
uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and all other characters.) If, for any reason, you are unable
to obtain a new passphrase or are unable to log on with your current passphrase, you must go to User and
Accounts Services, 2195 Hearst Avenue, Room 111, to obtain a new Bear Facts passphrase.
