Degrees are posted on a student’s official transcript approximately three months after the end of the term.
Please note: Degree completion is contingent on all grades for all semesters being posted to the transcripts.

Graduate with Money Owed to the University
Effective Spring 2018, students who owe money to the university will be able to graduate, but their diplomas will be withheld. Once a student makes their payment and the system is updated, the student will be emailed to verify their mailing address for the diploma.
Proof of Graduation Before Degrees Are Posted
Undergraduate Students
Degrees are posted on the official transcript approximately three months after the end of the term.
In a small number of cases, individuals who demonstrate an urgent need for proof of conferral may request an expedited degree. Since several offices must review the candidate’s academic record, these requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All grades for all semesters must be posted to be considered for an expedited degree. After all your grades are posted and you have submitted your request for an expedited degree, please allow three to five weeks of review time.
If you need to prove you graduated after the degree is posted, request a transcript or education and degree verification.
Registered Undergraduate Students
Fall 2024 degrees: Degree completion is contingent on all grades for all semesters being posted to the transcripts. Degree posting to transcripts for Fall 2024 starts on December 20, 2024, depending on grades and college review and approval. Starting December 20, individuals who demonstrate an urgent need for proof of conferral may request an expedited degree. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Graduate Students
When all requirements are satisfied in the system, Certificates of Completion are automatically generated and emailed to graduate students.
