Requirements for Transfer Credit

Check with your college or department to ensure you may use transfer coursework to complete a degree requirement. Once you have confirmed use of transfer credit, review the criteria for eligibility from another college or university.

Submitting Your Transcript

Follow these submitting a transcript guidelines for how to submit your official transcript. For more information on the posting of transfer credit for newly admitted, continuing, and graduating students, review the submit and review transcripts page.

After the transcript is received and scanned, the evaluation of transfer credit for continuing students will take two to four weeks (one to two business days for graduating students) and will be posted to the Berkeley transcript. For more information, please visit the Central Evaluation Unit website.
