Curriculum & Course Management System

The Curriculum & Course Management System (CCMS) is an integrated platform that will combine three systems – curriculum management, course management, and catalog – into one unified and connected space. The system is currently being built and is expected to launch during the Summer of 2025.

To learn more, please check out the About CCMS page.

CCMS includes catalog, course management, and curriculum management.

Timeline

Expected launch for CCMS in Summer 2025 will include full service for undergraduate programs. Graduate programs will add curriculum management in CCMS in a later implementation phase.

Campus-wide communications will begin in January, with training planned for May through June.

CCCM Implementation Timeline

Undergrad vs. Graduate Implementation

This chart describes which features will be implemented in Summer 2025.

The entire Academic Guide will transition to the Catalog for both undergrad and grad departments. Examples include the look and feel for students and all users, as well as automatic updates for course and curriculum changes.

Course Management, which includes creating or modifying courses, will be implemented for both undergrad and grad. An example of course management is changing the number of units for a course.

Curriculum / Program Management, which includes creating or modifying a program, will be implemented for undergrad only. Grad implementation will be planned after undergrad is complete. Examples of curriculum / program management include creating a new minor or changing the requirements for an existing major.
